This hot air balloon flight takes place in the Colmar area, Haut-Rhin, in central Alsace. Flights generally take off from the Munster Valley and head to the Vosges mountains, offering spectacular natural scenery.

Winter hot air balloon flight
Discover the snow-covered peaks, seen from the sky
Between sky and earth, floating through the air, you will see the amazing winter scenery where the pure white snow contrasts with the darker roads and forests.
We take advantage of winter high pressure systems that provide incredible light at this time of year. The objective is to fly as close as possible to the Crête des Vosges, in bright sunshine, high above the fog that shrouds the Alsace Plain. With the sun shining down, you will notice that it is much warmer at 5,000 feet than on the ground.
Comfortable warm winter clothing and snowproof shoes are recommended, as well as hats and gloves.
Once we land, we will celebrate the flight over a glass of Crémant d’Alsace sparkling wine and hand out personalized flight certificates.
We will return to the departure point some five hours after we left.
How do I place my order?
- You can order 1 or more boarding passes and personalize the names of the passengers on the order page.
- After online payment, your order confirmation will automatically be sent by email with a boarding pass that you can print.
- Deluxe boarding passes will be sent by post, along with a welcome package, which you will present when you take your hot air balloon flight.
- If you are buying a hot air balloon flight as a gift, the recipient will contact us to schedule the flight.
