Discovery flight

As a gift or for yourself.

Discovery flights take place from April to November. Duration: 1 to 2 hours of actual flight time. The total duration of the trip is about 5 hours.

During the Discovery Flights, we discover the rich and varied landscape of Alsace, from the amazing Crête des Vosges, to the valleys crisscrossed by rivers, the Vosges foothills, the vineyards and finally the plain dotted with forests.
The landscape features many small, typical traditional villages as well as numerous monuments and castles.
The scenery changes depending on the seasons and the light.

Alsace is an ideal area for a hot air balloon flight, where you will discover fantastic and thrilling sights.

How do I place my order?

You can order 1 or more boarding passes and personalize the names of the passengers on the order page.
After online payment, your order confirmation will automatically be sent by email with a boarding pass that you can print.
Deluxe boarding passes will be sent by post, along with a welcome package, which you will present when you take your hot air balloon flight.
If you are buying a hot air balloon flight as a gift, the recipient will contact us to schedule the flight.

Where do Discovery Flights take place?

Discovery Flights can take off from:

Our main base in Colmar, Haut-Rhin, in central Alsace. These flights generally depart from the Valley of Munster, offering flight paths above mountains, vineyards, historic villages and the Ried plain.
Our base in Saverne, Bas-Rhin, in northern Alsace. These flights soar over the Northern Vosges mountains and foothills.
